Trying to import from NameCheap and getting no results. I looked at your code, created my api callstring and ran it on the server and it returned data. I turned on logging and even though you have a log.namecheap logging method setup, it's not actually logging anything. I'm not sure why based on the code. I tried adding more logging into the /classes/DomainMOD/Namecheap.php like this after line 72: $log_message = 'Results of call'; $log_extra = convertToArray($api_results); $this->log->error($log_message, $log_extra); But it didn't output anything either. My log only shows (see image)
One of the app functions is to get the current IP for the domain. I would LOVE a feature to get a notification if this IP changes. I have customers who I manage their sites who screw up their DNS and then blame me that their website is down. This way I would know.
I realize both Plesk and Cpanel are not registrars, but from the standpoint of someone managing websites for my customers, it would be great to be able to import my domains from those API's and then later figure out the registrar (which I may or may not have access to for that specific domain).
I'll add some more detail to this later, but I just wanted to get it logged for now... This feature will allow people to keep track of domains they want to purchase, domains they want to try to get with a drop catcher, etc. To start it will probably just allow people to add a domain and the expiry date will be kept track of, and then the user will get notified when the expiry date is approaching, but it could be expanded to be a full domain Watchlist/Wishlist for external domains. In the future, using the domain registrar API connections, it could even try to automatically register domains for you when they drop.
This is a great alternative for those registrars that do not support API. As a workaround, we can import the domains via CSV (or add them manually), and then use the WHOIS API to get many important details like Registrar, Registered Date, Renewal Date, etc... This is much better than having to do it all manually.
Thanks for the great tool! Let me know if you need any assistance with ANYTHING!
Allow users to add their domains to DomainMOD by importing a CSV file.
Momento has this but I love the DomainMOD tool way more. But if I could pick one feature from them, it would be the Profit \ Loss page.
This is an essential feature. Very useful for people who transfer domains often between registrars / domain registrar accounts / owners / or changing email. Will also help find erroneous updates and mistakes. I'd say the most important is domain registrar account history for each domain.
Add Porkbun API support
Add AWS Route 53 API support
Add TransIP API support
Add HEXONET API support
So that it's easy for users to backup their data, as well as migrate from one installation to another.
